Using the Connectivity Dashboard to Monitor Uptime, Live Status, and Lost Revenue

Using the Connectivity Dashboard to Monitor Uptime, Live Status, and Lost Revenue

What is the Connectivity Dashboard?

The Connectivity Dashboard is the single screen to check whether stores are online and taking orders right now, and how connectivity has behaved over a period of time. It replaces the need to jump between separate Store Online Status, Uptime by Day, and Uptime by Hour reports by bringing current-state, historical uptime, per-store rollups, and hourly drill-downs into one view.

Watch a short video on the Connectivity Dashboard below.

Core question this report answers: "How much revenue am I losing to devices being offline, and which stores should I chase first?”

Where do I find the Report?

This report can be found in the left-hand navigation panel of YUMBI Reportio, under the Operations tab, as Connectivity. Alternatively, click here to access the report directly.

Filters

FilterWhat it does
Date RangeSets the historical window for the chart, per-store rollup, and hourly drill-down. Defaults to the last 8 days ending yesterday. It does not affect the Live Status panel, which is always real-time.
BrandAllows you to select a brand and narrows down which stores appear in the Restaurant filter and table.
RestaurantAllows you to filter by a store or multiple stores.
Online StatusAllows you to filter by various statuses: All, Online, Offline, Offline via POS, Printer, and Order Up. It does not affect the Live Status panel.

Live Status panel

This panel is a real-time snapshot and ignores the Date Range and Online Status filters — it always reflects what's happening right now across every store in scope.

Figure 2

Store Status

Total Online

Stores currently reachable and trading normally.

Total Unavailable

Stores that are temporarily unavailable after being manually toggled offline.

Total Offline

Stores that are trading, but whose device is currently unreachable, causing them to appear as offline.

Each row displays the percentage of stores for a specific status, the number of stores currently in that status compared to the total number of stores (for example, 2,136/2,297), and a coloured progress bar indicating the proportion of stores in that status.

  • Green for online
  • Amber for unavailable
  • Pink for offline.

Device Online

Shows live connectivity per device type, as a percentage of the stores that actually use that device (not of all stores):

  • GSM Printers
  • POS Systems
  • Order Up

Each row displays the percentage of online devices by device type, the number of online devices compared to the total number of devices for that type (for example, 2,136/2,297), and a coloured progress bar indicating the proportion of devices that are online.

Historical Performance

Allows you to monitor the uptime of your restaurant's online ordering system and is crucial to ensure you don't miss any sales opportunities. By keeping a regular check, you can quickly identify and address any issues that arise. The historical performance chart lets you view uptime by Day and by Hour.

Daily View

The panel heading carries a blue date tag showing the active Date Range. The uptime-by-day chart shows:

  • Left axis (red bars) — Potential Lost Revenue for that day
  • Right axis (lines) — Uptime % for four channels:
    • Online (green), POS (blue), Printer (orange), and Order Up (dashed teal)
  • Bottom axis — one point per day across the selected Date Range

Hourly Drilldown modal

Click any day's bar on the Historical Performance chart to open this modal. It breaks that single day down hour by hour, using the same chart layout as the daily view: (See video above)

  • Left axis (red bars) — potential Lost Orders per hour
  • Right axis (lines) — hourly uptime % for Online, POS, Printer, and Order Up
  • Bottom axis — all 24 hours of the day, even hours with no data

Stores table

Figure 3

One row per store in scope. This table combines two kinds of data, and the panel heading's tooltip is a useful reminder of which is which:

Live columns (always current)

Status Now, Printer, POS, Order Up, Last Printer Poll

Aggregate columns (cover the selected Date Range)

Online Uptime %, Lost Revenue, Lost Orders
