Creating a new address:

Recommended Approach:

To create a new address using the recommended approach of performing a search of the customer address, the following steps should be performed:

Step 1:

Click on the "New Address" button located on the Customer Details Page (See Figure 1).

Step 2:

This will launch the New Address Modal.

Step 3:

Enter the customer’s address by following the steps below for the recommended approach (See Figure 2).

a. Select the Street Address option
b. Enter the customer’s address in the Address input box
c. Then select the “Search” Button

Step 4:

If one or more valid search results are found, they will be presented in a grid below the search buttons (See Figure 3).

Step 5:

If no valid search results are found, a message indicating this will be presented below the address search bar (See Figure 4).

Alternative Approach:

If no valid search results are found using the recommended approach, use the alternative approach to enter the address under the Building/Place Of Interest option.
