To update an existing delivery address, an Agent needs to perform the following steps:
Select the relevant address from the Customer Details Page and click on the Edit Address link (See Figure 1).
The Edit Address Modal will be displayed.
Once displayed, the following recommended steps should be performed:
Update the pre-populated Street Address input box and select the "Find GPS" button (See Figure 2).
If one or more valid search results are found, they will be presented in a grid below the search buttons (See Figure 3).
If no valid search results are found, a message indicating this will be presented below the search buttons (See Figure 4).
If no valid search results are found using the Recommended Approach, the customer address can be manually entered without requiring GPS validation, although it is strongly advised that this method is only performed as a last resort.
To update an address using this approach, the following steps should be performed:
Update the pre-populated Street Address input box and select the "Choose Area" button (See Figure 2).
Select the appropriate area from the drop-down (See Figure 5).
Enter the supervisor password which has been provided by YUMBI in order to save the customer address (See Figure 6).
Note that customer addresses created by means of a supervisor override are all assigned the same GPS co-ordinates. This correlates to the centre point of the relevant area selected by the Agent and as a consequence, all order reporting based on the physical location of customers who have placed an order at the restaurant will not be 100% accurate.
