When a customer's order is submitted directly into the restaurant Point of Sale (POS), the YUMBI Platform will automatically notify the customer of an estimated time of collection or delivery based on the generic settings applied to the particular restaurant brand. If this automated notification is disabled (it is optional) then Live Driver Tracking (Subscription Dependent) will be able to provide an estimated delivery time.
When a customer order is submitted to the restaurant via the GSM Printer (YUMBI Printer), the cashier receiving the order will need to confirm, by means of a list of options on the printer, what time the order will be ready.
In both instances, the estimated time will be communicated to the customer via the SMS/Email notification sent to confirm whether the order was successfully received by the restaurant or not.
