Scenario One: Order via the POS
Where a customer's order is submitted directly into the restaurant Point of Sale, the YUMBI Platform will automatically notify the customer of an estimated time of collection or delivery based on the generic settings applied to the restaurant brand.
Scenario 2: Order via the YUMBI GSM Printer
Where a customer order is submitted to the restaurant using the GSM Printer (YUMBI Printer), the cashier receiving the order will need to confirm by means of a list of options on the printer what time the order will be ready.
In both instances, the estimated time will be communicated to the customer via the SMS/Email notification sent to confirm whether the order was successfully received by the restaurant or not.
